Cinque Terre excursions

From the Port of Viareggio, in summer, a boat leaves every morning which reaches Monterosso after having also visited Portovenere, to return at sunset. It is an excellent solution for those who want to spend a couple of hours on a boat admiring the entire Versilia coast and the peaks of the Apuan Alps, and then reach the Cinque Terre National Park.

Alternatively, it is possible to reach the Cinque Terre at any time of the year by train, starting from Viareggio station. In an hour you can reach Riomaggiore and from there you can visit the other parts of the park using the marked paths or the boats that connect one marina to another, and then return directly to Viareggio station in the evening.
